Trevor Clark
Trevor Clark is an extraordinarily mobile adventure photographer based in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He spends most of his year shooting projects in the wilderness areas of North America while living and working in his 4x4 studio-converted Sportsmobile van. He has even been known to park “El Guapo” for periods in the wilds of Washington D.C. and Manhattan.
Trevor attributes his style and approach to his unique background: growing up in Brazil, Canada and the U.S., a Photojournalism degree from the University of Georgia, wilderness guiding in Alaska, two years as a newspaper photojournalist and the experience of working with top industry professionals. Athletically, Trevor is a class V kayaker, wakeboarder, backcountry snowboarder, kiteboarder, sailor, sea kayaker, backpacker and of late, a standup paddleboarder. The combination of photographic skills and the ability to “hang with” his normally professional level subjects, gives him the edge for getting in, telling the story and getting out.
Editorially, Trevor’s adventure imagery has appeared in publications like Canoe & Kayak, Outside and Life Books among others while his commercial assignments have had him charging the backcountry and paddling class V for clients like Polartec and Jackson Kayak.
Trevor is always on the move, yet always accessible given today’s modern communications technology.
